Manny Aloha is Emanuel Pangilinan, an artist and designer born in NYC in 1973 to two ambitious Filipino parents with big dreams. He fell in love with skateboarding at the age of 11, which opened doors to endless creative opportunities. In 1996 he graduated from Penn State University with a BFA in Painting. His first solo exhibition was in Soho, New York City in 1997. Since then he has had solo and group shows in NY, North Carolina, California, and Hawaii.
From 2006-2016 he lived in Honolulu Hawaii where he created the moniker Manny Aloha as a signature for numerous illustrations for the Honolulu Weekly newspaper where he was Art Director from 2008-2010.
He has appeared in national publications for Skateboarding, Surfing, and art.
